What is the sale of Chametz?
Since we are not allowed to have any Chametz in our possession on Passover, we must sell any Chametz that belongs to us and that we did not burn it.
All the Chametz that will not be eaten or burned before Passover must be collected, including Chametz vessels that have not been properly cleaned - and put them in a reserved place (closet, room, etc.).
The place must be locked or taped up when it is closed, since during the holiday it will belong to the gentile who will buy the Chametz. [It is not possible to use, eat or sell during Passover any Chametz that is sold to a gentile].
Selling Chametz includes many details, therefore only a qualified Rabbi can perform it. The Rabbi acts as your messenger, to sell the Chametz to the gentile on the day before Pesach, and also to buy it back from him at the end of the holiday.
* A sale can be made for additional people who have agreed to it, but a separate form must be filled out for each of them.

I, the undersigned, give power and authority to the rabbi ישראל גולדברג, and make him a messenger and authorized in my place to sell and rent, himself, or through his messenger and his messenger, up to one hundred messengers, all kinds of our Chametz and Chametz-mixtures and Chametz possibility, whatever is in our possession, anywhere which is, and/or in the hands of others, or we have a share and right in them, or they are just a deposit in the hands of others. And also we give him the power of attorney that he will rent out to foreigners all the places where the Chametz is placed there.

If there is more than one place - it should be added in another line.
And in this we reveal our mind, that all kinds of Chametz and Chametz-mixtures and Chametz possibility that belong to us shall be sold to a gentile in any way, both by sending and by winning, who has the right to a person who is not present and also in the hands of the messenger to sell the above mentioned Chametz at any price he wishes according to his opinion, and if his sale exists, and let his hand be like our hands, and his work like our work, and his mouth like our work.
