24 Hours of a Powerful Opportunity!
Increasing Purity in Cyprus this Lag B’Omer!

The first Mikveh in Cyprus was inaugurated in 2005 — the first in the country’s history — built to the highest standards in both halachic excellence and comfort and hygiene, to enable Jewish families to observe the laws of family purity in the most dignified and beautiful way.

There is no need to elaborate on the immense spiritual importance of family purity in Jewish life. Since its establishment, thousands of immersions have taken place at the mikveh by women from the local community and Jewish tourists — each experiencing a moment of sacred purity.

Due to the growing needs of the community, a second mikveh was opened in 2018, a third in 2022, and a fourth is currently under construction. The mikvaot operate year-round on a consistent basis.

Operating and maintaining the mikvaot requires strict upkeep, costing €1,200 per month per mikveh.

On the yahrzeit of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, who devoted himself to the spiritual purity of the Jewish people, this is a special and auspicious time to support the continuation of the mikveh in Cyprus — and to merit blessings in all areas of life: children, health and longevity, abundant livelihood, and true joy from one’s family.
