The new 'Shonne Halachot' Pamphlet - Changing the house, Changing the world!
The aspiration of the Rabbis of Machon Halacha Chabad to arouse awareness of Halakhic issues, in addition to the amount of Halakhic information gathered from thousands of questions addressed to the Machon – both in writing and orally - gave birth to the unique and elaborate 'Shonne Halachot' Pamphlet, distributed on a large scale.
The pamphlet, which started as a small leaflet and progressed with time to a weekly double-page one, is now becoming the main pamphlet of your home!
16 pages, full of Halakhic material, to which over 50,000 readers are exposed every week!
The pamphlet is distributed weekly in about 350 synagogues and communities, in addition to which about 10,000 people subscribe to it and receive it by digital means.
The staff of the pamphlet consists of a Minian of Talmidei Chachamim who are responsible for sorting out questions, specify sources, editing, designing and even preparing packages for deliveries.
Here we need you!
So that every house of Chabad becomes a house of Torah, a house of Halacha, a house of a true Hassid!
So that every boy and girl can have Halakhic concepts in their own language!
So that every woman can know what, when and how she should behave in all aspects of the Jewish and Hassidic home!
So that each and every person can do as G-d wants - make a dwelling place for Him here in this world!
And for all that we are here.
This is one of the many actions we take to strengthen the Hassidic family, to strengthen the study of Halacha among Chabad Hasidim, to give a Halakhic answer to all Chabad Hassidim in all aspects of life.
With this pamphlet we are exposed to a target audience which does not meet us anywhere else except in the synagogue on Shabbat.
